November 9, 2011: A reminder that the Law Offices of J. Brent Standridge, P.A., handles cases throughout the State of Arkansas as Brent was recently retained on a criminal case pending in Benton County, Arkansas.
November 8, 2011: Brent presided over 2 cases in Saline County Teen Court including a minor in possession of alcohol case and a criminal mischief case, with students deciding punishment for the juvenile offenders.
October 14, 2011: Brent will be attending a meeting of the Arkansas Sentencing Commission in Little Rock.
October 7, 2011: Brent will be serving as a Watch Dog Dad at Caldwell Elementary School in Benton, the school attended by his son.
July 31-August 2, 2011: Brent, as criminal defense counsel representative on the Arkansas Sentencing Commission, attended the National Association of Sentencing Commissions 2011 Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon, where he received continuing legal education on sentencing laws and policies.

June 23, 2011: Tomorrow Brent will be attending a CLE Seminar of the Saline County Bar Association in Benton.
June 17, 2011: Brent will be teaching legal ethics to attorneys and others at a continuing legal education seminar in Little Rock sponsered by the Arkansas Sentencing Commission.
June 10, 2011: Brent will be attending a meeting of the Arkansas Sentencing Commission in Little Rock. The primary subject matter of the meeting will be reevaluating the sentencing guidelines for criminal offenses in the wake of the 2011 Arkansas Legislative Session.
June 8-11, 2011: Brent will be attending the Arkansas Bar Association's Annual Convention in Hot Springs.
May 26, 2011: The Saline County Bar Association presented a continuing legal education seminar over the lunch hour. Brent attended this event which focused on foreclosure options regarding home mortgages.
May 19, 2011: Brent attended the 2nd Annual Saline County Drug Court Fundraiser/Picnic on the Saline Couny courthouse lawn from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM.
May 12, 2o11: Brent has been reappointed by Governor Beebe to serve as a Commissioner on the Arkansas Sentencing Commission. This will be his second full term to serve after having initially served part of an unexpired term followed by his first full term. Brent has served on the Commission since 2005.
May 11, 2011: Brent served as a Watch D.O.G.S. Dad at his son's school.
April 28-30, 2011: Brent is attending the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association Annual Convention at the Peabody Hotel in Little Rock.
March 9, 2011: Brent attended the Saline County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education Seminar this Friday in Benton. Attorneys will be educated on the policies, procedures, and practices of the Saline County Drug Court Program.
March 4-5, 2011: Brent attended the Arkansas Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers Continuing Legal Education Seminar in Hot Springs.
February 25, 2011: Standridge Law Firm is sponsering Benton's Minor AA Braves baseball team (7 & 8 year old children) for the 2011 season.
February 21, 2o11: Brent was invited to and spoke as the guest speaker at the Daughters of the American Revolution meeting in Benton.
February 8, 2011: Brent presided as judge over the Saline County Teen Court where students from Benton Public Schools participated in resolving cases where juveniles were charged with criminal offenses.
November, 2010: Brent wrote an article on criminal expungements entitled Expungement: Can you wipe the record clean?. It appears in the Fall 2010 edition of The Docket, a quarterly publication of the Arkansas Trial Lawyer's Association. October 29, 2010: Brent co-presented a legal education seminar on jury voir dire in criminal cases for the Saline County Bar Association. The seminar, which was videotaped, was attended by attorneys and others. It was approved for continuing legal education credits by the Office of Professional Programs.
October 8, 2010: Brent presented a continuing legal education seminar at the Arkansas Sentencing Commission on criminal expungements with the event being attended by attorneys, judges, and others. It was approved for continuing legal education credits by the Office of Professional Programs.
